		<description>Thank you Karel for the kind words. You also appear to be right correcting the description of the painting. To the left there is indeed a three-decker under the flag of red - that could be only Monk. The English ship in the middle is a two-decker most likely under Lawson&#039;s flag.</description>

Small remark to Abrahamsz&#039;s painting of the &quot;Battle of Scheveningen (Slag bij Ter Heide)&quot; - in my opinion the painting&#039;s description is incorrect. English commander in chief General-at-Sea George Monck was onboard the Resolution, 88 guns (ex Prince Royal), the only three-decker present in the battle, and he was flying the red flag, not the blue one which belongs to Blue squadron of admiral Lawson onboard the two-decker George, 58 guns. I do not have detailed description of the battle at hand so I cannot say for sure which English vessel is engaged by Dutch Brederode in the centre of the painting, but I would guess that it can be Lawson&#039;s George, flying admiral of the blue flag on the mainmast (if artist&#039;s depiction of blue flags position is correct].</description>
